Cynthia Dunn-Selph, Mixed Media Artist and Photographer

Background:

A daughter of 2 artists, I have been creating my whole life and believe that is the purpose of life itself.

I have studied at the San Fransisco Art Academy, the University of California - San Fransisco, various community colleges and have been mentored along the way by many other incredible artists.

I served on the governing board for the Oakland Studio One, where I also taught children's art classes and managed the art gallery.  I also was responsible for the gallery at the Art Store in Berkeley, CA, the rotating exhibits at the Mighty Cup coffeehouse in Glendale, AZ, and was the Gallery Coordinator of the AmadorArts Gallery in Sutter Creek, CA.  I was on the board of the Amador County Artists Association, and a Co-Op member of the Sutter Creek Gallery, Sutter Creek, CA and of the Co-Op Local, in Plymouth, CA. I am also a member of the Sierra Wax Artists. I continue to teach and exhibit as the opportunities present themselves and am currently residing in the Phoenix, AZ area.
